MATH SHORT CUT TRICKS -RULES FOR DATA INTERPRETATION BASED ON TABLE PATTERN:

1.      First Read the statement especially Pi chart containing percentage of any value and Table Containing ratios of these value i.e. Value which may be in thousands, lakhs or percentage etc. Keep the value in mind during solution of DI based on Pi chart & Ratio Table Pattern.
2.      Second take a review of all questions and write in short on the blank page whatever is asked to solve in these questions say sum, average, ratio, percentage etc.
3.      Third count no. of rows and columns and simplify the Table by using SUPER FAST METHOD. (For clarity of method see the example).
4.       Fourth take a long breadth and say yourself that you can do it FAST and ACCURATE way. (This commands your mind and sends extra energy/power to your mind which will make work efficiently and accurately).
5.       Take 100 or 1000 as base value and Calculate Multiplication factor to get quantity or ratio so that DI will solve easily and quickly

SOLUTION: BY USING SUPER FAST TRICKS

First of fall check out no. of Areas in Pi Chart & Table = 8
Now to simplify the Pi-Chart let us consider the Base Value = 100.
Then the value of EVERY Area will be multiplied by 100 to obtain MULTIPLE FACTOR for total no. of employees
In this case MULTIPLE FACTOR = 48 which means that to obtain EVERY value of male or female of any Area the value will be multiplied by MULTIPLE FACTOR i.e 48.

Thus PI- CHART will become same as shown in figure below.


 And The Ratio table will be converted same as shown below:
In this table Multiple ratio = Value of Area/ Total Ratio
Then multiply this Multiple Ratio to individual ratio to obtain the no. of male or female employees in each area. Whenever there is a need of no. of male or female employee the MULTIPLE FACTOR will be multiplied with these new values in ratio of each area.

Now after simplification then go for the solution:
Solution 1:
Ratio between male employees in AD and PT Area = 175 : 100 = 7 : 4
Solution 2:
Total no. of employees in IT = 18% of 2500
Total no. of employees in IT = 14% of 2500
Difference between total number of employees in IT and OP Areas = 2500 x (18-14) %
= 2500x 4% = 100 Answer
Solution 3:
The total number of female in these HR and MK (two Areas) = 150+200 = 350 Answer (from above Table)
Ratio between total no. of male in HR and MK = 250+175 = 425 Answer (from above Table)

Concept:
Total no. of employees in HR Area = 2500 x 16% = 400
Total no. of Male in HR =16 x 5/8 = 10
To obtain value multiply with MF = 10 x MF = 10 x 25 = 250
Thus total no. of Female in HR = Total no. of employees in HR – Total no. of Male employees
                                                = 400 – 250= 150
Similarly, Total no. of employees in MK Area = 2500 x 15% = 375
Total no. of Male in MK =15 x 7/15 = 7
To obtain value multiply with MF = 10 x MF = 7 x 25 = 175
Thus total no. of Female in MK = Total no. of employees in MK – Total no. of Male employees
                                                = 375 – 175= 200

Solution 4:      
Female employees are in HR Area = 150 Answer
Solution 5:
Total no. of employees in LG Area = 2500 x 11% = 275
No. of males = 150 (from above Table)
No. of female = 275-150 = 125
Difference between the male and female employees in LG Area = 150-125 = 25 Answer
